Say what you want about twitter but I do find some of the best things via peoples tweets and mentions! most recently SoukSouk the little green beauty box which I subscribed to after reading a tweet from AnaGoesGreen. SoukSouk is the box that delivers green brands to your door exclusively. I'd been wanting to try such a box for a little while after having a bad experience with the dreaded Glossy Box. and was looking for a box that I could sample natural brands. I did try Beauteco box but it doesn't exclusively offer natural products and a lot of the brands where quite well known. I'm looking for a subscription that offers the chance to discover new brands and I think SoukSouk may be the beauty box for me!
SoukSouk has the least packaging of any box I've received no fancy sack, stickers or tissue paper just a simple box with shredded paper, the box only delivers to the UK and Ireland and cost £12. SoukSouk doesn't have an E-shop attached like many of the beauty boxes, however they do supply literature of all the products in the box with discounts and information on where you can get them. I quite like the lack of E-shop personally I never purchase from the beauty box shops preferring to visit the brands website and learn about their range. I think this works better for the brand, as supplying samples for beauty boxes isn't cheap so at least they get the traffic from perspective customers. The box contained 5 samples and has a selection of body, skin and makeup products.
Faith In Nature Shower Gel
Eve of St Agnes Refining Bamboo Exfoliating Polish & Hydrating Facial Silk
Barefaced Natural Mineral Eyeshadow In Graphite
All the products bar the eyeshadow are sample sized (generous for samples) and all but one are new finds for me, you also get a mini magazine which was actually a good read, with all you need to have a green summer! SoukSouk are currently only accepting PayPal.
