The Color Run

I spent this weekend at Sentosa for The Color Run!

It was WAY more fun than i expected? I've never participated in such an event before and the number of enthusiastic runners surprised me.

It's not a serious marathon but instead, it's "The Happiest 5km on The Planet".

More than 16,000 people participated in the inaugural Southeast Asia Color Run!

Thanks to the New Balance team for my outfit and shoes! I AM SUPER IN LOVE WITH MY NEW SHOES!

With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:

1. Wear white at the starting line

2. Finish plastered in color!

WATCH!!!

With Dons covered in colorful powder by the end of the run! It was surprising some readers could recognize me LIKE THAT and took pictures hahaha THANK YOU FOR THE LOOOOVE!

Pretty sure you can't wait for the next Color Run already huh??? :D

The Holiday In Greece: Korres Gift Set

I love Korres. I could end the review right there but I guess I should explain. I picked up some Korres body care a while ago from an event and fell in love with the cool natural brand from Greece. With simple cool packaging and products from make up to hair care Korres is definitely a one stop shop for all you beauty needs. George and Lena Korres use essential oils and herbs to create some amazing skin and body care products, using organic farming and an extensive knowledge of homoeopathic remedies. I'm a huge fan of their body butters and body milks which smell DEVINE! Calories in Durian

When i'm sad and feeling depressed i turn to food.

And lately, my guilty pleasure is...

I LOVE DURIAN!!!

It is my favorite fruit HANDS DOWN. And i am surprised a lot of people hate it. But i love it like mad! I don't get why people think it's stinky...i think it smells awesome. Hahaha.

I can eat one whole durian at one seating. I AM CRAZY. But that would mean i'd have to work out doubly hard at the gym cus durians are very high in calories. :( "Durian is fruit. How can that make you fat?" Well, the sad truth is it will make you fat (i mean come on, you're not gonna only eat that one durian and be full the entire day).

Based on my research online...

1 whole fruit is around 885 Calories. :O

So i had 3/4 of a durian last night, which means i consumed about 600 calories FOR SUPPER. My average daily calorie intake is 1240 calories - so that's like half already. Well, which explains why i did 45 minutes of cardio (usually only do 30 min on normal days) this morning. Lol.

I don't know what 1 cup means though :/ hahahaha.

KL

I love traveling out of Singapore to eat good food! KL's food was definitely nothing short of amazing. Was there for around 4 days and i really wanted to extend my trip because i felt i haven't got to try a lot of good food.

This is my 2nd trip out of Singapore with #thepartyinvaders and this time it's to Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia.

We took a 3-4 hour drive from Singapore to KL. Left Singapore at 3AM to avoid jams. Quite happy we didn't have to get stuck in any jams to and fro.

When we reached, we were all dead beat from the ride to KL. Can't imagine how tired the drivers that morning felt!

Most of the hotels/service apartments were fully booked but thank goodness for our friend's uncle for this service apartment! At the lobby, we felt a lil bit scared the rooms would look bad and it'll be scary but when we reached our rooms, we had a rather pleasant surprise! Considering the fact we paid so little, IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD. The rooms were so clean - most important! We all got a 2 bed room suite which could fit 4-5 people a room.

When i told my other friends i was going to KL, they recommended a list of places and so, i had a bunch of places in mind to check out but unfortunately, 4 days was definitely not enough to cover half the places on the list. Plus, during this trip, we all partied SO HARD so waking up early in the morning sure wasn't possible. It's like some only went to bed at 8am?? CRAAAAY! Partying in ZOUK KL was so SO much fun! Maybe because we were in a foreign place and could do anything we wanted and not be remembered. LOL. Then after ZOUK, most of us would have an after-party in the room. Madness! That's the #thepartyinvaders for you.

This trip to KL, we didn't really walk much which also means no shopping. Well except at Pavilion where i got some stuff from Forever 21 & Zara. Heard the shopping at Mid Valley Mall and Sungei Wang Plaza is not bad but it's a pity i didn't manage to go there! I think i went there before VERY long ago but can't remember what it's like anymore.
